Hasn't Hit Me...

So it hasn't quite hit me yet that I am ACTUALLY leaving for Russia! I've been busy getting ready and doing small things. Figuring out what to pack in one little 50 pound suitcase for 2 months abroad is quite difficult. Donations are still slowly coming in, which is VERY helpful. I'm still nervous because I haven't raised the full amount yet. But I don't believe God would have this in my heart if it wasn't meant to be. So I just need to relax- and turn it all over to Him! (I have a hard time doing that, and you folks that know me... understand!)
My friends and family have been so supportive. I could not ask for a better group around me! Well, just had a few things on my mind. Until tomorrow... Доброй ночи!

Kim Rogers in Russia

So I am starting a blog! I am leaving in 2 weeks to go to St. Petersburg, Russia for the summer. I will be a short-term missionary in a Christian Mission school, and I am SO EXCITED! I am lucky and blessed to have wonderful friends and family supporting me financially, emotionally, and spiritually. I could not do it without them. I hope you will stay tuned for more updates as I prepare to leave! More to come later....
